WEEK 14


Hello friends, I am here with another blog of mine. In this blog, I will explain what I have learned by blogging about myself and the course.

WEEK 1

-Met classmates and teacher.

-Discussed the Typology of Free Web-Based Learning Technologies.

WEEK 2

-Reviewed instructional technologies and the history of technological tools.


WEEK 3

-We examined the Educational Technology -Big Picture slide in context. -We met with Coursera and logged in here. -I started the course and finished the first week. Here I saw the difference between WEB2 from WEB1 and some of the Web 2 tools.


WEEK 4

-We have reviewed the slide about instructional software for twenty-first-century teaching. -I have completed the second week at Coursera. I learned about collaboration tools this week. These tools are; podomatic, survey, blog, E-Mail, skype, VoiceThread, and Padlet. -We became a group for the final project. -We started preparing our Lesson Plan template. We determined our learning approach and topic.


WEEK 5

-We first started creating our lesson plan with Canva.

- I have learned about the tools of Creativity in Coursera. Continuum depends in 3 ways and they are; Word = Be creative with words and learn words.

WEEK 6

-We finished our Canvas and put questions at the end to determine what the students learned in the lesson.

- In Coursera, Twenty-first-century skills and we have seen that they benefit from this in their educators. These are; Problem-Solving, Critical Thinking, Creativity, and Communication.


WEEK 7

-We started preparing a survey using Google Surveys this week.

-Then, to determine how proficient the students were on the subject, we asked 15 questions consisting of different question types such as short answer, paragraph, multiple choice, checkboxes, and drop-down menus, highlighting comprehensive and important points about the subject.

-We used a tool called Google Surveys to find out how much students knew the learning objectives in advance and tested their experiences. (Computational Thinking Skills = Evaluation)

-In Coursera, the personal learning network, i.e. PLN, consists of colleagues. New ideas and new ways of using tools are shared, and it allows you to communicate with colleagues on the other side of the world.


WEEK 8

- We have completed our survey. -I finished the Coursera and took my certificate. -We started writing a story based on Algorithmic thinking in the Word file for our lesson plan.


WEEK 9

-We have finished writing our story. Then we turned the story we wrote into a book using a Story Jumper. -The subject of our story is the path followed by children who cannot choose a common gift (intersection) for twin brothers on their birthday and their solutions to this problem. Here, Algorithmic thinking has become what we use for the most part. But besides that, we first identified the problem and made an evaluation by asking questions to test the children at the end of the story.


WEEK 10

-Completed the story and added voiceover.

-Prepared a Storyboard template according to the narrative.


WEEK 11

-We determined our location for the comic. Here, the subject is that a student named Yaz cannot grow her fruit due to her illness, and they cooperate by getting the help of her friends. The importance of solidarity and unity. Collaboration, problem solving, and planning are at the forefront of computational thinking skills

-We prepared our comic in Canva.

-I talked about the writing process of our comic in my eleventh week blog.


WEEK 12

-We have prepared WordWall as the last stage of our lesson plan to test how much children are learning the subject. (Computational Thinking Skill: Evaluation)
-Initiated website development, showcasing all projects with detailed explanations.


WEEK 13
  • -Completed the website, visually enhancing it.
  • -Summarized the course journey in a comprehensive blog post
WEEK 14
-Wrote a reflective blog about the semester, detailing methods and strategies used in the learning process.


Reflections on Group Work:
Group collaboration greatly facilitated the completion of our final project. The experience taught us effective teamwork, enhancing creativity through the exchange of ideas and discussions.
