• In the realm of twenty-first-century education, educators find significant value in cultivating skills such as Problem-Solving, Critical Thinking, Creativity, and Communication.

• The focus of 21st Century Skills lies in liberal education and preparing individuals for the workforce.

• Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) illustrates the optimal utilization of technology in various teaching methods to enhance the acquisition of content knowledge.

• Three fundamental knowledge types exist:

CK (content),
PK (pedagogy),
TK (technology), alongside
TPK (Technological Pedagogical Knowledge), PCK (Pedagogical Content Knowledge), and TCK (Technological Content Knowledge).

Action Research, credited to Professor Curt Lewin, involves seven steps:

• 1. Select a focus,

• 2. Clarify theories,

• 3. Identify research questions,

• 4. Collect data,

• 5. Analyze data,

• 6. Report results, and

• 7. Take informed action.

WEEK-5

• A Personal Learning Network (PLN) comprises colleagues who share novel ideas and innovative tool applications, fostering global communication among educators.

• Components of a PLN include information aggregators, local colleagues, professional organizations, distant colleagues, family, community, and others.

• Four steps guide PLN development:

• 1. Discover thought leaders,

• 2. Follow and bookmark,

• 3. Read through posts, and

• 4. Experiment with new tools.
